New Fanzine: Best before

Tuesday, 28. October 2008

Time to announce the latest issue of fanzines out of the Shake Your Tree univers. It’s a collaboration between Shake Your Tree and our friends from Upitup. M-Boy, Tracky Birthday, Roglok and Konrad Kuhn teamed up and compiled a fancy fanzine about dance music.

“Best before – A Dsico Fanzine” is both: a critical examination but also a playful homage to disco music and culture.

Of course you can find also some new work of mine in it. Sadly I couldn’t take part at the legendary release party.

Opening Party at Wellington Rd Studios

Thursday, 23. October 2008

Yesterday a big opening party for Wellington Road studios took place in Portslade. The Shake Your Tree Studio is only one of four studios in the building, hosted by Blast Theory.

After the last builders had left and the big tidy up was finished, Blast Theory invited to a lovely opening event with open studios and presentations of their work including An Explicit Volume, Riders Spoke or Trucold. Thanks to Blast Theory and all the guests who said hello to our Shake Your Tree Studio.
